She acquired a Bachelor\u2019s in Civil &amp; Environmental Engineering with Honors from Duke University followed by Master\u2019s and Doctoral degrees in the same field from Carnegie Mellon University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr. Laughton\u2019s teaching philosophy centers on grounding engineering technical knowledge in real-world scenarios and hands-on experiences. This carried through her teaching at both 糖心VLOG and at Trident Technical College through her work as the School of Engineering\u2019s Transfer 糖心VLOG Liaison.
