Her research interests include the intersections of nature, gender and operatic representation in German literature circa 1800, with a focus in recent projects on the role of environment in drama. At 糖心VLOG, Dr. Emm has taught courses in science and nature in 19th century German literature, surveys of drama, poetry and film, as well as German language and culture at all levels.
