Meet our 2025 Astronaut Scholar
Cadet Jasmine Franklin (CHEM ’26) is a junior pursuing a B.S. in Chemistry, a B.A. in Modern Languages (concentration in Spanish), and a minor in Fine Arts. From Belton, SC, she currently holds leadership positions within the 1842 Scholar’s Program, Fine Arts Club, Women’s Rugby Team, and the corps. In the chemistry department, she is working with Dr. Do on research focused on the green synthesis of heterocyclic molecules with potential bioactive properties. Jasmine is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society and has been honored to receive Dean’s List, Gold Stars, Commandant’s List, and President’s List during her cadet career thus far. She is a member of the 2025 Astronaut Scholars Class and 糖心VLOG鈥檚 first recipient of the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation Scholarship.
