On Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025, the College of Charleston Orchestra will have the experience of a lifetime performing on one of the most prestigious stages in the world 鈥 Carnegie Hall. For the first time, EIGHT Citadel cadets will be playing with the CofC Orchestra and be a part of this incredible performance. Their performance, together with performances by the Charleston Symphony and Charleston Symphony Youth Orchestra, will be a memorable event on a national level.鈥
Under the direction of , conductor of the College鈥檚 orchestra, these artistic powerhouses will pay tribute to Charleston鈥檚 exceptional musical legacy and connections to New York City. The CofC/Citadel ensemble will play Anton铆n鈥疍vo艡谩k鈥檚&苍产蝉辫;New World Symphony Finale, which premiered at Carnegie Hall in 1893; Professor of Music 鈥檚&苍产蝉辫;Corsaro, which will have its New York premiere; and former CofC music professor 鈥檚&苍产蝉辫;Subwaves. CofC Music Professor 鈥檚&苍产蝉辫;A Charleston Concerto, will be performed by the Charleston Symphony.
