Benefits of attending the Citadel under NROTC Scholarship
The Armed Forces Scholarship Program has been established to assist the ROTC Detachments at ÌÇÐÄVLOG in bringing the best and brightest officer candidates to the school. Prospective students must have a minimum 1200 SAT (or 27 ACT), a minimum high school GPA of 2.5, and have accepted an ROTC scholarship prior to matriculation as a freshman at ÌÇÐÄVLOG in order to be considered. Recipients of the scholarship will receive an annual award of $3500 for each year in which they receive the ROTC Scholarship. Recipients of the Armed Forces Scholarship will be notified by ÌÇÐÄVLOG’s Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships.
A student must maintain a 3.0 minimum GPR to maintain the Armed Forces Scholarship. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the scholarship. The Armed Forces Scholarship will not be reinstated once it has been lost.
ÌÇÐÄVLOGs who are awarded an ROTC Scholarship after matriculating at ÌÇÐÄVLOG are not eligible for an Armed Forces Scholarship.
