Breaking ground for college鈥檚 sixth academic school
To celebrate the upcoming Krause School of Leadership and Ethics, which will launch in 2026, a groundbreaking ceremony was held on Oct. 16.
, were in attendance. 鈥淭here are not many schools of leadership鈥攖here are departments of leadership and various things, but there are very few schools of leadership,鈥 said Krause. 鈥淪o we have an opportunity here to do something groundbreaking鈥攑un intended鈥攊n terms of what does a school of leadership really mean, how does that impact people and what鈥檚 the curriculum going to be.鈥
The new school will unite the existing and the college鈥檚 Department of Leadership Studies, supporting the college鈥檚 mission to educate and develop principled leaders for all walks of life.
